About Us and Our Church History

Unknown to the majority of the world's population in many countries, there are many branches of the overall "Catholic Church".  Most people are under the impression that the "Roman Catholic Church" is the only Catholic Church.  This is just not true.  The Roman Catholic Church is not the Head of the overall Catholic Church, it is one of many Catholic Churches.  The Roman Catholic Church is but one of the branches of the overall Catholic Church.  Christ Catholic Church - Worldwide is one of the branches the Catholic Church.  There are two Rites of Religious following in the overall Catholic Church - The "Western Rite" and "Eastern" Rite.  Roman Catholics and Christ Catholic Church - Worldwide follow the Western Rite.  The Eastern Orthodox (Byzantine) follows the Eastern Rite.  Though, the Eastern Orthodox Church does not view itself as Catholic in any way, in the overall Universal Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox (Byzantine) Church has Catholic roots and history.

Below, you will find the links that tell you a little about us and our Church history, about our Catholic Faith, and a brief history of the Catholic Church, the Christ Catholic Church - Worldwide.

We work for God and the work we do is in God's name and in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Let us now take the time here and give all Glory and Honor to God, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, and His Catholic Church, and tell you a little about us.

If you have not visited our Catechism page and Our Canon Law page, please do so.  The Catechism is the core teaching of the tenets of our faith and Religious Doctrine (Our Confession of Faith).  The Canons lists the Canon Laws of our Church.  We will be updating our Catechism and Canon Laws in the near future to bring it in line with the Roman Catholic Church in many respects, while we still maintain our Independent Catholic Jurisdiction.
